Welcome to My Site!
I am an individual and family therapist with a special focus on work with women and children. My focus is to help families improve their functioning so that all members of the family can grow to their full potential, becoming the persons they were meant to be.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I hold a Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in mental health from UNC Chapel Hill. I have been practicing since 1986. Since that time I have worked in family service agencies, mental health centers, and elementary schools. I have also served as Clinical Instructor in the UNC School of Social Work. I bring to my work my passion for parenting and my personal experiences as a wife and mother of two young adult children. I have lived in Charlotte since 1988.
